Liliana also has a blast with her great grandparents whom she lovingly calls Lita and Papi Chulo. They just adore her and as you can see from the pictures she has them wrapped around her little finger.
My grandparents mostly speak Spanish and she uses her limited Spanish vocabulary with them. Some of her favorite things to do over there are.
Walking on the treadmill with Papi Chulo.
Opening the garage and having them push her around in a rolling chair that is stored inside.
Playing with the Christmas clock that sings spanish Christmas Carols.
Also playing with the Mickey Mouse holding the Costa Rican flag that sits on top of the t.v. in their bedroom,
Dragging them around the house and asking for ice cream, cookies or whatever junk food she can get her hands on!
and last but not least....
Sidenote: I happened to have made this headband and dress for her.
