My Great Grandpa

This may sound weird, but up until someone posted this picture on Facebook... I had never seen a picture of my Father's Grandpa.  I do not even know his name.  I  have some research to do.  Pretty neat though!

Addy's 6 Month post (Give or take a month)

 My sweet chubby baby is now 7 months old. I stole these first two pictures off my friend's blog. She is better and capturing my kids than I am.   Thank you Heather.  These pics show her DELICIOUS thighs!  

 Addelyn is such a happy baby.  When we are out and about her chub gets noticed by strangers and then she knocks them out with that smile.  In the middle of the night she can't help but smile at me after I finish nursing her.  This sure makes waking up at 3 a.m. for night feedings a little easier. She cries only when hungry or tired.  I am really enjoying her and find that she is growing up way to fast.

 Addy and her sister have a blast together.  It's nice to finally be at an age where they can start having a little bit of interaction.  The other day Lili was popping up and saying "Boo!" to her and both were laughing hysterically.  It was all fun and games till Liliana decided  to bite Addy's pinky (left it purple).  Who knows why she did, but Addy was very offended.  It warms my heart to see them play together however, it's the extreme opposite emotion when they don't.  Liliana went to bed without a book and she hasn't attempted it again since.  Today when Addy was crying she came and gave her a stuffed animal and rubbed her head.  So sweet!

Addy has also started solids.  My mom let me borrow her Vitamix to make her food.  It's a breeze and makes me feel like a good mama!  Yes she eats that whole bowl in one sitting (gotta keep up those thighs!)

 

 Here she is with Jack.  He just turned 100 years old and is our oldest friend.  Addy made his day with her killer smile.  He lives back in Peoria, but we got a chance to go back and visit.  Jack is incredible, I mean how many 100 year olds do you know that still play golf!?

She is crawling!  Well if you can call it that, let's just say she is mobile.  It's more of a inch worm type movement with big lunges forward.  This girl talent.

Finally

Since Addy was born Liliana has asked me to put her next to her in the cart at Costco or Sams.  I always had to say you have to wait until she is a little bit older.  This day I did not have to say that and you can see how happy they both were.  

In the Past Month...

1.  Packed and moved to the other side of the Valley.
2.  David took both MD and DO Board Exams!
3.  Went on vacation.
4.  David turned 28
5.  Liliana turned 3
7.  I turned ?? :)  hehe

Needless to say we have been busy bees and are almost completely unpacked.  We are finally enjoying some "normality" (what ever that means).

Merrill Lake Trip

Every year in May, David's parents, and siblings meet in Lake Havazu for family vacation.  His oldest brother Jeff owns a sweet boat and is kind to share it with everyone.  All the families pitch in and rent a huge rental house.  It's four days of non stop fun and always goes by too quick!

Messy Class

I signed Liliana up for this fun class at the local Recreation Center.  The teacher started each lesson with fun music and a story.  Later they did some type of "messy" craft, and finished off with bubbles!
